FutureSchools @ Singapore
A MOE-IDA Collaborative Project
Beacon Primary School is the first new primary school set up as part of the FutureSchools@Singapore programme. The programme, which is a collaborative effort between Ministry of Education (MOE) and Infocomm Development Authority (IDA), aims to effectively harness technology for engaged learning.
The school started operation in Jan 2008 and was officially opened by Mr Lui Tuck Yew, who was then the Acting Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts, on 23 July 2010.

P1 REGISTRATION EXERCISE
2012 Primary One Registration Exercise will be conducted between 3 July and 30 Aug 2012. Children born between 2 January 2006 and 1 January 2007 (both dates inclusive) can participate in the 2012 Primary One Registration Exercise for admission to Primary One Classes in 2013.
