We started the conceptualisation of our learning spaces as early as January 2007.  Based on the preliminary concept, we crafted a development blueprint to create technology-enabled learning spaces to support the school curriculum.  We took into account four key principles in the design process: flexibility, connectedness, learner-centeredness and safety.   We also aimed to provide a ubiquitous computing learning environment for all our pupils. Our learning environment covers both the physical and virtual spaces.  Learning spaces are designed to be flexible yet cater to specialised requirements and offer seamless connectivity.  Relevant existing and emerging technologies also provide integrated support for learning programmes to deepen our pupils’ learning.
