Objectives
To engage the heart (attitudes and values), head (awareness) and hands (actions) of our members for them to develop a love for their environment and appreciate both the natural and physical world.
To use the environment as our third teacher for our students to apply their knowledge and skills as they explore environmental issues, engage in authentic problem-solving contexts and take actions to improve the environment.
To provide authentic learning experiences for our students to hone their communication and collaborative skills as they work with others to be confident learners.
Main Activities
Raise the level of environmental awareness in all students through level-wide and school-wide activities.
Activities include litter-free environment, mozzie wipe-out, 4Rs, Upcycling, Earth Day commemoration and waste minimisation.
